WWE Smackdown Live Recap – March 19, 2019

Sasha Banks and Bayley vs. The IIconics
Back from the break and Bayley and Sasha Banks wait in the ring for this non-title match. The IIconics are out next, Peyton Royce and Billie Kay. They work the mic on the way to the ring, taunting the champions, but Banks and Bayley aren’t impressed.

Kay starts off with Bayley but they taunt Bayley and in comes Peyton. Fans chant for Bayley as she goes at it with Peyton. Peyton avoids a shot and goes to the floor. She comes back in and Bayley drops her for a 2 count. Banks and Kay go at it now. Bayley comes in but the music interrupts and out comes Lacey Evans to walk the ramp like she has been doing. The IIconics take advantage of the distraction. Bayley doesn’t see the tag as Peyton comes in and drops her. Bayley kicks out at 2 and we go back to commercial.

Back from the break and The IIconics keep Bayley from tagging. Banks finally gets the hot tag and unloads on Peyton. Banks with a close 2 count. More back and forth between the two now. Banks drops Kay on the floor but Peyton comes from behind. Banks counters and drops her. Kay with another assist from the floor. Bayley comes over but Kay drops her with a big boot. Peyton takes advantage of the distraction and covers Banks for the non-title win.

Winners: The IIconics


Billie Kay & Peyton Royce wonder if The Grandest Stage of Them All is in their future after defeating Sasha Banks & Bayley.

  WWE Smackdown Live Recap – March 12, 2019

Peyton Royce and Billie Kay are in the back and Peyton and Billie want to know where Sasha Banks and Bayley are. They were at Fastlane to see their title defense. You beat Nia and Tamina, but you cannot run from them forever. Their future is IIconic.

  WWE Smackdown Live Recap – February 12, 2019

Naomi & Carmella vs. Mandy Rose & Sonya Deville vs. The IIconics
The losers of this match will be the first two teams in the Women’s Elimination Chamber. Naomi and Carmella control the opening moments of this one, and Naomi hits a big dive on Mandy at ringside. Back in the ring, Sonya works over Naomi and Carmella. The IIconics seem to be trying to avoid getting in the action in this one. Naomi hits up hitting the split legged moonsault on Mandy Rose for the three count after a short match.

Winners: Naomi & Carmella

  WWE Smackdown Live Recap – February 5, 2019

Sonya Deville and Mandy Rose cut a promo at the gorilla position saying that Naomi and Carmella are too inexperienced of a team, and The IIconics are a comedy act. Mandy brings up the Elimination Chamber, and points out that Naomi hasn’t pinned her before.

Carmella & Naomi vs. The IIconics vs. Mandy Rose & Sonya Deville
Mandy avoids Naomi in the opening moments and tags in Billie to escape. Carmella tags in for a double team on Billie, then Mandy tags in and she puts the boots to Carmella. Naomi and Sonya tag in, and Mandy runs away from Naomi. Naomi hits some kicks on Sonya, then Peyton tags in. Naomi takes out both IIconics, then Naomi pulls Mandy in the ring and pummels on her. Peyton comes in and Naomi drops her, but the distraction leads to Mandy hitting a butterfly suplex on Naomi for the three count.

Winners: Mandy Rose and Sonya Deville

  WWE Smackdown Live Recap – January 15, 2019

Becky Lynch comes out to the ring to kick off SmackDown, and she gets on the mic. Becky talks about her plans to reclaim the Women’s Championship, and proving that she isn’t a fluke. Becky talks about Asuka until Asuka comes out to interrupt. Asuka gets in the ring and confronts Becky, but The Iiconics quickly come out to interrupt, and we’ve got a match.

Becky Lynch vs. Peyton Royce
Billie Kay and Asuka are both at ringside. Becky goes to shake Peyton’s hand, but instead she punches her in the face. They briefly spill out to ringside, and then back in the ring Becky starts working over Peyton’s shoulder. Lacey Evans is shown backstage watching on a monitor. Royce goes out to ringside for a breather, and back in the ring Peyton turns things around with a flurry of offense. Peyton puts the boots to Becky in the corner, but Becky comes back with a series of elbows to the face. Becky hits a flying forearm shot off the middle rope for a two count. Peyton starts fighting back, and they spill outside in front of Asuka. Back in the ring, Becky applies the Dis-arm-her for the win.

Winner: Becky Lynch

Asuka vs. Billie Kay
After the previous match, Asuka and Billie get into it at ringside, then Asuka throws her in the ring and we’ve got a match. Asuka almost immediately applies the Asuka lock for the win via submission.

Winner: Asuka
